What are you going to do with all those garbanzo beans?
Hi sister! I’m going to make lots and lots of hummus! Sabra is the only hummus we really like and at $5.00 a pop, it’s kind of pricey (especially when your husband is a hummus-consuming MACHINE). I’ve been making the hummus instead of buying it and it’s really good…fresher tasting!
bye.
Wait, don’t post that first one. I didn’t finish writing it!
What I was going to say is Jason’s mom’s hummus recipe is the best. She uses lots of lemon and just a little tahini (which the most fattening part anyway). It’s awesome, and I need to make it more often.
bye.
You have a new obsessed follower. I cannot believe you didn’t tell me about this earlier this week, this is fabulous, and I am so proud. You seem to have paired your two greatest skills: your superb writing with your obsession with food. Its a winning combination no doubt! I loved reading through every post and now you are on my favorites list.
The countdown to the wedding is on: 6 weeks from tomorrow. I am going to ‘maintain’ food and go crazy at the gym.
My fav parts of the blog so far: (1) Rocky Mtn High (always think of you and yours when I hear this now- same with The Dance by Garth); (2) Insanity to me but not surprising that you listen to XMas music as you run; (3) Impressed you have crossed over to the coffee loving crowd, I knew you could do it!; (4) Proud that you are ‘powering through’ your meals, glad to see something has rubbed off.
Counting down the days til I can see you (oh, and I guess get married too!) Love ya and keep up the awesome!
So people in real life know about your blog?
Hey I just found your blog and am really enjoying reading it! My grandmother grew up in Oregon, but moved to VA, where I’m from. We take her out to the Oregon coast every summer to escape the dreaded humidity of the East Coast! = ) I have been looking for a hummus recipe for ages– have you posted yours on your blog? I looked for it, but couldn’t find it.
